A robust institutional framework has been established to prevent and respond to GBV, led by the Ministry of Gender and Family Promotion (MIGEPROF), in collaboration with government entities and non-state actors. The Prime Minister’s Order N°001/03 of 11/01/2012 mandates all government institutions to implement programs aimed at preventing and addressing GBV, as outlined in Article 3. At the decentralized level, Anti-GBV committees have been established to lead and coordinate community-level prevention efforts.
